Scope & Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Compliance
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Accounting Operations
Maintain a robust system of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Oversee operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting.
Monitor and analyze budget variances and report significant issues to management.
Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
Cash Management
Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow and working capital.
Oversee cash management and treasury functions, including banking relationships and investments.
Strategic Financial Planning
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and business plans.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial performance.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Ensure the accounting team is aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Special Projects
Lead special projects and initiatives, such as system implementations and process redesigns.
Provide financial expertise and support for mergers, acquisitions, and other business development activities.
Job requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to occasionally travel for meetings or site visits as required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
